Job Description

Supervises staff while maintaining a caseload. Ensures programming and services are provided to all offenders beginning 24 months prior to release. Provides hands on delivery and oversight of evidence-based programming that is essential to meeting the needs of releasing offenders. Ensures all pertinent information is documented in the Offender Management System. Provides program specific lectures. Provides discharge/aftercare planning referral services for successful community reintegration through SCDC partners for employment, housing, and vocational rehabilitation. Participates on a multi-disciplinary treatment team for purposes of program evaluation and case management consultation. Assists in recruiting volunteers from the community to provide beneficial programs to inmates. Responds to requests for information. Completes assigned monthly reports. Participates in staff meetings and attend training sessions as required. State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements :
A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.
SCDC Minimum Requirements:
A bachelor's degree and relevant experience in program development, implementation, and oversight. OR An associate's degree and 3 years relevant experience in program development, implementation, and oversight. OR A high school diploma and 5 years relevant experience in program development, implementation, and oversight. Must have 3 years supervisory experience.
