Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Program Coordinator to oversee and facilitate the successful implementation of community-based programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, experience in program development, and a passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities. This role requires a proactive approach to relationship management, administrative excellence, and program oversight, ensuring that services are delivered effectively and in alignment with organizational goals. The Program Coordinator will serve as a key leader in fostering a supportive environment that promotes growth, independence, and well-being for participants. Duties Develop, plan, and coordinate programs tailored to meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Supervise program staff and volunteers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to maintain high-quality service delivery. Build and maintain strong relationships with participants, families, community partners, and stakeholders to promote collaboration and program success. Manage program budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure efficient use of resources while maintaining fiscal responsibility. Oversee administrative tasks such as documentation, reporting, scheduling, and maintaining accurate participant records. Evaluate program effectiveness through data collection and feedback mechanisms; implement improvements to enhance outcomes. Ensure adherence to behavioral health practices and safety protocols within all program activities to foster a secure environment for participants. Skills Proven management experience with the ability to lead teams effectively in a dynamic setting. Expertise in program development and implementation tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities. Strong relationship management skills to engage participants, families, community partners, and staff constructively. Extensive administrative experience including budgeting, documentation, and reporting procedures. Supervisory experience with a focus on coaching staff and fostering professional growth. Knowledge of social work principles and behavioral health practices relevant to supporting individuals with diverse needs. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
