Full Job Description Description:
This position oversees the daily operations of the residential treatment program while ensuring exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, staff development, and clinical excellence. The Program Director partners closely with executive leadership and department directors to ensure the facility operates efficiently while delivering high-quality, evidence-based behavioral healthcare. Provide day-to-day leadership of the Brentwood facility. Ensure the facility operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation standards. Maintain a positive, patient-centered culture aligned with Apex Recovery's mission and values. Develop and implement operational goals that support organizational growth. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics. Participate in strategic planning with executive leadership. Lead department managers and hold leadership team members accountable for performance expectations. Recruit, interview, hire, coach, mentor, and evaluate department leaders. Conduct regular leadership meetings. Collaborate with Clinical Leadership to ensure delivery of quality behavioral health services. Ensure patients receive safe, ethical, and evidence-based treatment. Support patient satisfaction initiatives. Review incident reports and implement corrective action plans when necessary.
Maintain compliance with:
Tennessee Department of Mental Health Joint Commission Standards
HIPAA 42 CFR
Part 2 OSHA CMS (as applicable) Company policies and procedures Prepare for regulatory surveys and accreditation visits. Assist with development and management of departmental budgets. Assist in census growth strategies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Behavioral Health, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, or related field required . Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Counseling, Social Work, Nursing, or related field preferred. Active LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LMFT, or RN licensure in good standing preferred Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or healthcare operations. Minimum 3 years managing multidisciplinary teams. Experience with residential treatment programs preferred. Experience with Joint Commission accreditation strongly preferred. Budget management experience preferred.
