Our client is currently seeking a Trauma Program Manager for a full time, direct hire role in
Knoxville, TN Fully On SiteSalary:
$112,000-$155,000

Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO The Trauma Program Manager is responsible for the development, coordination, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the trauma program for the client. Working in collaboration with the Trauma Medical Director and hospital leadership, this position supports high-quality, evidence-based trauma care across the continuum of care, including injury prevention, prehospital coordination, emergency services, acute inpatient care, rehabilitation, trauma registry management, performance improvement, education, outreach, and trauma center verification readiness.
Position Accountabilities and Performance Criteria:
Leads the day-to-day operations of the trauma program and ensures alignment with organizational goals, trauma system requirements, and applicable verification standards. Partners with the Trauma Medical Director to establish program priorities, evaluate outcomes, and improve trauma care delivery. Coordinates interdisciplinary trauma services across the continuum of care. Develops, implements, and maintains trauma-related policies, protocols, clinical pathways, guidelines, and standard work processes. Oversees trauma performance improvement and patient safety activities. Coordinates trauma center designation, verification, and readiness activities. Manages trauma registry operations and reporting. Facilitates trauma committee meetings and multidisciplinary reviews. Leads trauma-related education and competency development. Supports injury prevention initiatives, community outreach, and EMS collaboration. Monitors trauma quality metrics and communicates outcomes to leadership. Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested. Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum Experience:
Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant clinical nursing experience required. Demonstrated experience in quality improvement, performance improvement, clinical education, program coordination, or leadership. Knowledge of trauma systems, ACS trauma program standards, trauma registry processes, and trauma performance improvement principles.
Licensure Requirement:
Must have and maintain current unrestricted RN license in state of TN. Additional trauma certifications preferred.
