DESCRIPTION
Are you looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced, innovative company, on a rapidly growing team? If so, come make history with the Sub Same Day (SSD) Expansions team. The SSD Team increases the speed of delivery for customers in Urban areas and is responsible for the acquisition, construction and management of all facilities within the Sub Same Day program. We are looking for a program manager to join our SSD Expansions Team who will develop and manage a cross-functional process to identify and validate perspective new buildings or land options, think big to anticipate and work around potential blockers, and deliver site selections for new building launches. For this role, we are looking for Program Manager with strong capacity management, network planning and proven project management experience to own both strategic and tactical real estate expansion projects and programs. This role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing and scaling processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to cross-functional senior management on status, risks and process/product changes. Cross-team collaboration, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. Key job responsibilities Manage full lifecycle of the real estate expansion process from business requirement to lease signing through cross-functional partnerships across Transactions, Legal, Capacity Planning, Operations, Pre-Construction, among others Develop the overall program strategy, tactically driving teams in and outside of your organization to deliver new fulfillment locations Define the program (mission, vision, tenets), set objectives, analyze data and drive quantifiable improvements Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, seeking to understand business problems, automation limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions and reasons behind leadership decisions Partner with cross-functional teams to source, allocate, and coordinate resources Partner with customers, internal/external teams, and engineering teams to determine what projects move forward and in what priority order Oversee gaps between teams, processes and systems, helping teams reduce inefficiencies Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks Work with program managers, business leaders and executive team to communicate and impact critical business initiatives Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Amazon customers About the team We're driving the key pillars of increased speed and wider coverage for the future of supply chain and enabling faster customer delivery for a wider range of products across the U.S. If you are seeking a fast-paced environment where you can drive innovation and execute on multi-million-dollar expansion deals, this is your opportunity. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of program or project management experience 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
