Job Description

Overview Winding Branch Ranch is seeking a Growth Coordinator to help expand our programs, outreach, fundraising support and community engagement. This is a behind-the-scenes coordination role for someone who is organized, outgoing, creative and passionate about agriculture, regenerative farming, animal welfare, children's education and community-based learning. The Growth Coordinator will help connect more schools, families and community partners to Winding Branch Ranch by supporting outreach, enrollment, follow-up, marketing, tracking and relationship-building. This is not primarily a teaching role, although occasional hands-on program support may be needed. The role will focus on helping programs grow by turning interest into participation, keeping communications moving, supporting curriculum and marketing and making sure our program systems are organized and effective. Key Responsibilities Support the growth of field trips, youth programs, family programs, camps, workshops and community education initiatives Communicate with schools, homeschool groups, families and community partners about program opportunities Follow up with inquiries, past participants and potential program partners to encourage registration and participation Help manage enrollment, registrations, calendars, participant communication and program logistics Support outreach efforts that help fill programs, increase attendance and build stronger community relationships Help organize curriculum, lesson plans, program materials and educator resources Track enrollment, attendance, revenue, feedback and other program data Assist with email, social media, website updates, flyers and other program marketing Support donor, sponsor and grant-related tracking, including impact numbers, follow-up lists and reporting needs Assist with fundraiser preparation, event logistics and sponsor follow-up as needed Occasionally assist with hands-on programs, tours, events or fundraisers Represent Winding Branch Ranch in a warm, professional and mission-centered way Ideal Candidate Highly organized, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple moving pieces Outgoing and confident communicating with schools, families, donors, sponsors, volunteers and community partners Comfortable with outreach, follow-up and helping people take the next step Passionate about regenerative farming, agricultural education, animal welfare, gardening and conservation Elementary education background or experience working with children is strongly preferred Knowledge of agriculture, food systems, gardening, animal care, soil health, native plants, pollinators or sustainable farming practices Experience with program coordination, school outreach, nonprofit programming, marketing, development support, customer service or administrative work is preferred Comfortable with data tracking, basic reporting and using information to improve programs Strong written and verbal communication skills Spanish-speaking or Spanish-English bilingual is highly preferred Comfortable working outdoors and around livestock when needed Schedule & Compensation Starting at $18 per hour Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-2:00 PM One to two Saturdays per month may be required for programs, events, fundraisers or seasonal activities This is a part-time, in-person position at Winding Branch Ranch in Bulverde, Texas About Winding Branch Ranch Winding Branch Ranch is a nonprofit agricultural resource center and livestock sanctuary serving the Greater San Antonio region. Our mission is to rescue, revive and rehome farm animals in need while educating communities about humane, ethical and sustainable farming practices. This role is best suited for someone who cares deeply about children, animals, agriculture and community education, but also enjoys outreach, follow-up, marketing, tracking and coordination that help meaningful programs grow.
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
