Join YMCA Childcare as an ISD Liaison for the Summer Learning Academy. In this role, you will serve as the key connection between YMCA leadership and ISD teachers, ensuring alignment, communication, and program success.

Position Overview :
As a
Summer Learning Academy ISD Liaison Hours:
7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Serve as the primary communication liaison between YMCA Program Directors, Senior Program Directors, and ISD teachers. Support teachers in understanding YMCA expectations, daily schedules, and program structure, including morning routines and daily rotations. Guide teachers in curriculum development and implementation for literacy and math, ensuring alignment with program goals and ISD expectations. Support the planning and execution of daily instructional rotations and overall flow of the program day. Ensure teachers have the technology, materials, and resources needed to successfully deliver instruction. Oversee and support attendance tracking, data collection, and reporting requirements. Coordinate and support the administration of Pre- and Post-Assessments for literacy and math in collaboration with teachers and YMCA leadership. Monitor program implementation, instructional quality, and classroom environments, providing coaching and feedback as needed. Support problem-solving related to classroom management, student engagement, and operational challenges. Collect, review, and report attendance data, assessment data, and program metrics to YMCA leadership. Attend required trainings, meetings, and planning sessions. Ensure program compliance with YMCA policies, ISD expectations, and safety standards. Guide the academic and social development of children, ensuring a safe, enriching, and healthy learning environment that promotes progress and learning.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree Required Current state teaching certification Minimum of two years of experience in education, instructional coaching, or program support. Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills. Experience supporting curriculum implementation and instructional practices. Comfort with technology, data systems, and reporting tools.
