Job Type:
Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Program Manager to act as the primary operational and commercial bridge between Sanmina and our key customers at our El Paso, TX facility. In this role, you will be the "first point of contact" and primary escalation path for the customer, leading a cross-functional Customer Focus Team (CFT) to drive operational excellence, maximize financial success, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of manufacturing commercial agreements, strong financial acumen, and the leadership versatility to push projects from demand management through to successful execution.
Core Roles & Responsibilities Commercial & Financial Management:
Master and manage customer agreements, terms, and conditions to maximize financial results and protect the business. Track and drive financial KPIs, including revenue, forecasts vs. actuals, gross margins, inventory/assets, and Purchase Price Variance (PPV) data collection. Lead quarterly pricing reviews, incremental work quotes, and inventory valuation/exposure claims.
Transactional Operations Support:
Track historical demand accuracy and analyze customer forecast metrics (using waterfall charts) to help right-size labor and infrastructure. Manage order/forecast supply commit processes, review backlog reports, and align open orders in Oracle. Oversee invoicing protocols, manage PO balances, and drive AR collections to mitigate write-off risks. Manage the commercial aspects of the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process and minimize cost exposure during product End-of-Life (EOL) phases.
Status Alignment & Relationship Management:
Develop and present periodic internal program reviews to plant and executive management. Host repeating communication schedules and present Customer Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR). Partner with Business Unit Managers (BUMs) to handle site-specific operational issues within the framework of the contract.
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement:
Act as the "first point of contact" for customer complaints, driving efficient resolution alongside the Quality team (CARs). Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) processes, either as a formal lead or jointly with Engineering. Continually assess program risks and develop solid mitigation strategies.
Generic Competencies & Requirements Project & Strategy Management:
Proven ability to manage multiple complex manufacturing projects simultaneously.
Analytical Problem Solving:
Ability to anticipate critical points in complex situations, verify data with external information, and develop innovative, non-traditional solutions aligned with business objectives.
Negotiation & Communication:
Strong skills in designing communication and negotiation strategies to reach mutually satisfactory agreements.
Team Leadership:
Experience promoting team-first collaboration, setting realistic yet challenging goals, and providing actionable feedback to develop team members.
Customer Focus:
A natural attitude of availability and genuine interest in understanding and meeting customer needs.
Adaptability:
Versatility and speed in adapting to different contexts, situations, and diverse groups of people.
Systems:
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) is highly desirable. Why Join Us?
