Job Description

Broadstone Insights is seeking an experienced, analytical Research Programmes Lead in Washington, DC to oversee end-to-end qualitative and quantitative research operations. In this strategic leadership role, you will direct multi-disciplinary research initiatives, manage program budgets, lead teams of researchers, and deliver data-backed market intelligence reports for corporate and institutional clients.
Key Responsibilities Program Strategy & Governance:
Direct the lifecycle of complex research programs, defining research methodologies, scope, project timelines, and operational deliverables.
Quantitative & Qualitative Oversight:
Lead survey design, econometric data collection, focus group frameworks, and secondary research analysis to derive actionable market insights.
Stakeholder & Client Advisory:
Serve as the primary research liaison for executive clients, authoring comprehensive whitepapers, policy briefs, and strategic presentation decks.
Team & Resource Management:
Mentor and manage a team of research analysts and data specialists, establishing quality assurance protocols and project workflows.
Budget & Compliance Management:
Manage multi-million dollar program budgets, oversee vendor procurement, and ensure strict adherence to research ethics and data privacy regulations. Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of experience leading research programs, academic studies, or market analysis workstreams within a consulting, research institute, or corporate environment. Deep technical background in quantitative methodology, survey design, and statistical analysis tools ( Stata, SPSS, R, or Python ). Proven track record of managing multi-phase research portfolios, client relationships, and project teams. Outstanding technical writing, data visualization, and executive presentation skills. Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring employer visa sponsorship.
Desirable:
Master's degree or PhD in Economics, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or Statistics; experience with government or enterprise corporate clients.
