Description:
The Long Endurance Electronic Decoy (LEED) team is part of the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Advanced Programs Line of Business that specializes in new product development and rapid prototyping to serve multiple customers. The LEED program is a fast-paced prototype development and fielding program for the U.S. Navy. What You Will Be Doing As the LEED Deputy Program Manager you will be responsible for working with the LEED Senior Manager / Portfolio Manager to successfully complete an aggressive prototype test schedule and begin production of Rapid Fielded Prototypes for U.S. Navy testing in preparation for future production contracts. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Manage cost, schedule, and technical performance in partnership with IPT leads and functional support. Drive Earned Value Management (EVM) and Risk Management data and gather actionable insights for internal/external executive presentations Lead cross-functional teams in execution of aggressive Navy prototype development schedule and transition to production activities Participate in contract negotiations and proposal preparations. Basic Qualifications:
1) Demonstrated ability to lead a team to complete highly technical projects on very short timelines 2) Demonstrated ability to manage cost, schedule and manpower needs 3) Demonstrated ability to use Excel (or equivalent) to merge datasets from multiple tools to produce actionable insights 4) U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret level clearance
Desired Skills:
1) Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) waterfall & agile practices and their practical application in a development environment 2) Hands on rapid prototyping (or equivalent) experience in hardware- or software-based efforts. This includes active or recent personal experiences. 3) Experience executing development programs in Middle Tier of Acquisition (MTA) / Other Transaction Authority (OTA) environments 4) Experience transitioning programs from development phase to production phase 4) Hands-on experience with data manipulation, including macros (e.g. VBA), scripting (e.g. python), big data tools (e.g. Tableau), and/or RAG-based AI 5) Degree in engineering

Work Remotely:

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:
