Aug 4, 2026 Job Description Oversees all aspects of the district's Child Nutrition Program, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while providing safe, nutritious meals to students. This position manages program operations, financial accountability, purchasing, food service staff, and regulatory compliance across all campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
Administering meal benefit applications Overseeing budgets and reimbursements Approving purchases and food orders Monitoring cafeteria operations Maintaining USDA and TDA compliance Managing commodity programs Conducting staff training Ensuring food safety and HACCP compliance Coordination audits and reviews Preparing required reports and applications. The Child Nutrition Coordinator supervises cafeteria managers, evaluates menus, oversees procurement activities, and ensures compliance with all required certifications, training requirements, and annual regulatory obligations. The Coordinator serves as the district's primary liaison for child nutrition programs and collaborates closely with district administrators, finance staff, regulatory agencies, and campus personnel to maintain an efficient, compliant, and high-quality nutrition program that supports student health, well-being, and academic success.
