MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Associate's degree in social services or related field preferred, or equivalent work experienceSpecial Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on neighbor dignity and satisfaction Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., staff, volunteers, agency partners, donors and vendors) Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Comfortable working with diverse, low-income communities across our service area Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy in administrative work Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and comfort learning tablets and web-based systems Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to compliance and continuous improvement Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage shifting priorities Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferredExperience:
One year of administrative, social services, or customer service work, preferably within the non-profit industryPRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, organize, and facilitate CSFP distributions through direct distributions and support agency partner drop sites as assigned Remain informed of community needs and connect neighbors with appropriate resources Attend all assigned distributions, reschedule due to weather or closures, conduct site visits; create orders; coordinate with the Operations team; and resolve order-fulfillment issues Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers while nurturing select volunteers on the path to becoming Kernels Build and maintain empowering relationships with site coordinators and relevant stakeholders to support program standards, growth, engagement, and compliance Address neighbor and stakeholder requests by researching root causes impacting food distribution to ensure resolution and stakeholder satisfaction Enroll program participants, track participation, and regularly update program records in Link2Feed Perform general administrative functions, including answering and responding to neighbor and other stakeholder phone calls and voicemails; processing CSFP applications submitted via JotForm; responding to team inbox emails; tracking inventory; creating and updating flyers and calendars; and printing distribution materials Educate seniors on the benefits ofCSFP/PAN
; certify qualified individuals; and refer non-eligible persons to alternative resources Create, maintain, update, and distribute program documents, agreements, and training materials in coordination with the NTFB Quality team Represent NTFB Programs at community events, coalitions, donor meetings, media events, etc. Update processes, resolve operational challenges, and collaborate within and beyond the CSFP Team with a focus on continuous improvement Perform other tasks and duties as assignedMENTAL DEMANDS
Adapt effectively in the face of workplace stressors such as customer complaints, compliance issues, competing programmatic priorities, and the need to maintain the safety of people and property Quickly diagnose and resolve issues that arise during a distributionPHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
Moderate noise (i.e., business office with open floor plan with computers, phone, and printers; light traffic). This person should have the ability to work outdoors at a variety of locations. This program operates in non-hazardous weather conditions, rain or shine, year-round.
