Job Description

CSI - a custom hardware/software engineering company headquartered in Richardson, TX, is seeking a talented Subcontracts Program Specialist. The Subcontracts Program Specialist's (SPS) duties include management of supply chain internal planning, scheduling, and budgeting aspects of complex projects. This role is vital to vendor/supplier relationships to enhance overall performance. The SPS will collaborate and guide both internal and external aspects of projects and guide the integrated project team to meet program objectives and delivery schedules. They will also act as the primary interface to the external Supply Chain Managers and support them as required in customer meetings and communications. This Specialist is expected to oversee the direct program work, resources, and dollars using an advanced understanding of program management methodology, program control principles, and direct participation in all aspects of the program and subcontracts process. They are also responsible for the preparation and analysis of monthly trend and financial performance reports and working with direct labor contributors to develop accurate Estimates To Complete (ETCs). The selected candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and will be subject to government security investigations and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate all phases of the subcontracts process from initial planning through successful product delivery, and contract closeout Manage large, complex vendors' and suppliers' material/product pipelines to include developing performance metrics Establish and manage material budget portfolios to support program requirements Support C-Suite and Program Management in developing material needs, strategies and goals Champion schedules established by the respective program teams to include milestones and all execution phases Monitor program master plans to identify deficiencies, then develop/obtain solutions Author statement of works with inputs from engineering Assist in the overall program risk and opportunity management process Ensure FAR/DFAR/contractual requirements are met in all issued purchase orders Establish operating procedures that support the requirements set forth in the AS9100C and CMMI standards
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Management, Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience (MS or MBA preferred) Program Controls/ Program Management certifications preferred 7+ years of DoD contracts management experience as a government employee or industry contractor 5+ years of supply chain management, program management, procurement or manufacturing operations experience Current Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance Proficiency using MS Office suite of programs to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project and MS PowerPoint Must be a U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance Candidate Must Possess the Ability to: Manage multiple concurrent priorities and meet critical deadlines Work independently as well as part of a team; self-motivated Be adaptive and proactive Show initiative by seeking ways to improve processes and data analysis Deliver well-defined written products and professional presentation skills for briefings/meetings, including demonstrated ability to present information to senior staff and external stakeholders Perform other duties as required If you are passionate about partnering in the development and deployment of engineering solutions and eager to contribute to innovative aerospace projects, we encourage you to apply for the position of Program Manager at Crescent Systems, Inc.
