Full Job Description Business Lead, Responsible Minerals Job Summary:
The Business Lead will lead strategic initiatives for the Social and Environmental Responsibility Team that ensure the sustainability and safety of Dell's supply chain by ensuring compliance with responsible minerals sourcing regulations and leading various minerals campaigns to promote ethical practices. This role will own Dell's global responsible minerals due diligence program strategy, governance, and execution—spanning 3TG and battery/critical minerals—ensuring compliance, disclosures, and measurable supply chain risk reduction aligned with internationally recognized due diligence frameworks (including the OECD Due Diligence Guidance). What you'll achieve As a Business Lead, you will lead strategic initiatives that ensure the sustainability and safety of Dell's supply chain. Be part of a team that leads one of the industry's most comprehensive audit programs to ensure compliance with all requirements from industry associations, government and other regulatory bodies and provide mitigation recommendations and action plans.
You will:
Set and execute the multi ‑ year responsible minerals strategy (roadmap, operating model, KPI framework, and program governance) and drive continuous improvement across regulatory readiness, supplier performance, and transparency. Serve as Dell's program owner for responsible minerals due diligence and disclosures—ensuring audit ‑ ready evidence, documented decisioning, and consistent executive reporting. Here's what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or relevant field/ Minimum of 5 years of experience in responsible minerals sourcing Prior experience running a responsible minerals sourcing program for a global corporation/Experience owning executive-level reporting, governance routines, and cross-functional stakeholder management in a global environment Familiarity with upstream smelter/ refiner validation concepts and supply chain traceability expectations/Demonstrated ability to design and operate a defensible due diligence program aligned to OECD Due Diligence Guidance (and comparable best-practice frameworks) Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including the US Dodd-Frank Act, EU Conflict Minerals Regulation, and EU Batteries Regulation Demonstrated capability to improve data quality and scale programs using analytics, automation, and/or structured tooling (beyond spreadsheets) Desirable Requirements Typically requires 7+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor's degree; or 5+ years with a Master's degree; or equivalent experience Experience with battery/critical minerals due diligence and related supply chain risk management Experience engaging external stakeholders (industry groups, NGOs, customers) and representing company positions with credibility.
