Description:
The Advanced Strategic Programs (ASP) Sentinel Senior Program Manager has responsibility for all aspects of the Lockheed Marin scope on the Sentinel Program including Development, Production, and Testing for cost, schedule, performance, execution, and customer engagements. The current major program is a subcontract to a peer industry partner producing nuclear certified support equipment and flight test vehicles. The Senior Manager duties include planning and execution of program budget and schedule, as well as support of technical, supply chain, production, and test performance. The successful candidate will ensure customer intimacy, communication, and overall stakeholder satisfaction. The Senior Manager will support the development of strategic plans, roadmaps (technical, personnel, & management), and proposal efforts to cultivate new business opportunities. The successful candidate must be able to attract, develop, and maintain a diverse workforce while fostering an inclusive environment.
Basic Qualifications:
BS in Business, Engineering, or related technical field Minimum of 10 years of program/project management leadership experience Prior experience with program leadership on a major defense acquisition program Demonstrated experience in building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders Experience developing strategic program plans and establishing thought leadership to secure future business Prior experience managing multi-disciplinary activity across multiple geographic locations Outstanding program leadership skills and established successful track record of program and project execution, including management of supply chain and subcontractors Ability to balance programmatic and organizational priorities Ability to travel on an as-needed basis. Final DoD Secret Clearance required prior to start, US citizenship is required
