EXSC Program Manager (TEMPORARY - P art-Time, 17.5 hours/week) Join the Department of Exercise Sciences at BYU, where you will play a key role in supporting faculty and students in a dynamic and engaging academic environment. This position handles a variety of department functions, including overseeing student employees, managing our graduate and undergraduate programs (curriculum and class scheduling), academic advisement, office management, and providing general administrative support. As part of our team, you will help foster a welcoming, collaborative, and organized space for students and faculty alike. What you'll do in this position: Graduate program management: recruiting, admissions, onboarding, advising, etc. Coordinate annual graduate student events including Graduate Orientation, Graduate Retreat, 3MT Competition, and Graduate Presentations Administer curriculum updates and manage class scheduling Manage office needs, including reception, office hours schedules, etc.HR operations specialist:
understand and share HR policies with faculty, assist with hiring student employees for faculty Data collection and reporting for annual stewardship interviews, Academic Unit Review, and other projects as requested Assist faculty and students to solve issues within the department What qualifies you for this role: Required A firm commitment to the mission of BYU. Bachelor's degree in field related to job responsibilities and management experience Microsoft Office (advanced knowledge of Word and Excel, strong skills with PowerPoint) Preferred 5 years experience Learn quickly and can pick up on new programs/processes easily Knowledge of BYU campus and its entities Self-starter Background in editing and writing (most specialized need) Familiar with scientific writing Experience with BYU sites, such as: Coursedog (curriculum, class scheduling), AIM (classroom scheduling), Workday (HR), Slate (grad student applications), Brightspot (website management)Application Deadline:
