Description The Swim Lesson Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and organizing all swim lesson programming within the Aquatics department. This role ensures a high-quality, safe, and engaging learning experience for guests and members while supporting the resort's commitment to exceptional service. The coordinator manages scheduling, instructor support, participant communication, and program development to deliver a seamless and elevated aquatics experience. Key Responsibilities Program Coordination & Scheduling Coordinate all private and group swim lessons, including scheduling instructors and participants Maintain accurate lesson calendars and ensure optimal class availability Monitor enrollment levels and adjust programming to meet demand Guest & Member Experience Serve as the primary point of contact for swim lesson inquiries, registrations, and feedback Provide a welcoming and personalized experience aligned with luxury hospitality standards Address concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction Instructor Support & Oversight Assist with onboarding, scheduling, and communication for swim instructors Ensure instructors follow safety protocols, lesson plans, and service expectations Provide ongoing support to maintain consistency and quality across all lessons Program Development Support the development and enhancement of swim lesson offerings for all age groups and skill levels Assist in creating seasonal programs, camps, and specialty clinics Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements Safety & Compliance Ensure all lessons adhere to safety guidelines and aquatics best practices Maintain accurate records, including attendance and incident reports Support compliance with resort policies and applicable regulations Requirements Qualifications Previous experience in aquatics, swim instruction, or program coordination preferred Strong organizational and scheduling skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience working with children and families preferred Certifications (Preferred/Required) American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (or ability to obtain) CPR/AED and First Aid Certification Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Certification preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods Ability to work in indoor and outdoor aquatic environments Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Work Environment & Schedule Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Work performed in poolside and office settings Why Join Our Team Join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences in a premier resort setting.
