The Program Associate primarily supports ICLE's Catholic Educator Formation and Credential (CEFC) program, a groundbreaking and rapidly expanding alternative to state teacher licensure. Additionally, this person supports the execution of ICLE's events, particularly our annual National Conference. Ultimately, we envision the person in this role supporting a variety of key programs across the organization, as the needs of the Institute shift over time. This role will work closely with the Director of the Credential program.Primary Responsibilities Administrative and Logistical Support:
In collaboration with Credential team leadership, proactively forecast the needs of the Credential program team and provide administrative support to smoothly execute programming. Assist Credential program faculty in the organization of classroom materials, assignments, presentations, and communications to cohorts. Run logistical meetings with Credential team to assign owners, check on status of various tasks, and ensure forward movement on key projects. Coordinate recording and editing of CEFC sessions and maintain the CEFC video library. Streamline data collection and data organization for the Credential program. Host virtual CEFC sessions, as needed (4-5 evenings per semester). Manage and troubleshoot software and systems relevant to CEFC staff and participants (e.g. Zoom, Canva, Wordpress, registration software, etc.).Event Coordination:
Manage all event logistics for the Credential program in-person cohort gatherings and graduation ceremonies (both in-person and virtual). Act as on-call support for workshops. Coordinate on-site liturgies, invitation lists and catering for in-person events. Manage contracts and payments, alongside other team members. Order supplies, printed materials, and books for in-person gatherings. Ensure Credential promotional materials are up to date.Desired Qualifications:
Mission-Alignment Active and practicing Catholic devoted to the mission of the Catholic Church and Catholic Liberal Arts education. General Skills Excellent and proven organizational and project coordination skills, including the capacity to coordinate tasks amongst various team members and coordinate multiple large projects at a time. Excellent capacity to work independently and autonomously, particularly in a remote environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent attention to detail and keen aesthetic sense. Ability to work collaboratively and smoothly amongst multiple team members and respond quickly to shifting priorities. Proactive professional who sees what needs to be done and works within team environment to accomplish it. Technical Skills Tech-savvy professional with an excellent capacity and willingness to quickly learn new technology platforms as needed (e.g., Google Classroom, Canvas). Familiarity and comfort in working with Google Sheets and Google Docs. Experience in graphic design, video editing, and digital marketing (ideal, but not required). Other Teaching experience preferred. Lifelong learner and willingness to learn new skills on the job. Ability and willingness to travel for programs when necessary (a few trips per year).
