Overview (This after-school program is currently in the planning phase. If you wish to proceed with the hiring process, you will assume the role of Executive Director. We will collaborate to finalize the necessary steps to bring the program to fruition. My objective is to commence operations prior to the commencement of the school year. For full transparency, compensation will be deferred until the program's inception. As Executive Director, your hourly wage will be $20.)Join our vibrant educational community as an After-School Program Director, where your leadership will inspire young learners and foster a safe, engaging environment after school hours. In this dynamic role, you will oversee program operations, coordinate activities, and manage staff to ensure a high-quality experience for children and families. Your expertise in education administration and team management will drive program success and create lasting positive impacts on students' development. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and evaluate after-school curriculum and enrichment activities aligned with educational standards and student interests Supervise and mentor program staff, including teachers, activity coordinators, and support personnel, ensuring effective team collaboration Oversee daily program operations, including enrollment management, attendance tracking, and compliance with safety protocols Coordinate with school administrators, parents, and community partners to promote program participation and address student needs Manage administrative tasks using educational administrative software to maintain accurate records of student progress, staff schedules, and program budgets Lead staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development initiatives Ensure a safe, inclusive environment that supports the social-emotional well-being of all children in the program Skills Proven experience in school administrative leadership or education administration with a focus on after-school or youth programs Strong background in higher education teaching or early childhood education center experience Excellent staff supervision, team leadership, and personnel management skills within educational settings Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and educational administrative software for reporting and documentation purposes Ability to develop innovative programs that promote student engagement and learning outcomes Exceptional written communication skills for reports, parent communications, and program documentation Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds while maintaining a positive environment Join us to lead an energetic team dedicated to enriching students' lives through engaging after-school experiences. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
