Program Manager Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to lead and execute complex programs supporting Department of Defense (DoD) initiatives. This role is responsible for driving cross-functional efforts while ensuring alignment with customer objectives, regulatory standards, and organizational priorities. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership capabilities with technical acumen and experience navigating DoD acquisition frameworks. This position serves as a critical liaison between government stakeholders, senior leadership, and external partners, ensuring clear communication, efficient execution, and successful delivery of program objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end program management for DoD-related initiatives, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, and budget. Oversee program budgets, including planning, forecasting, tracking, and cost control. Manage contract execution in compliance with DoD acquisition processes, including
FAR/DFARS
regulations. Direct and coordinate Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) and cross-functional resources. Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships with government representatives, vendors, and subcontractors. Drive collaboration across engineering, supply chain, procurement, and quality teams. Monitor program performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to quality standards, compliance requirements, and internal best practices. Oversee vendor and subcontractor performance, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations and program goals. Provide regular updates and strategic insights to senior leadership. Required Qualifications U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years of experience managing DoD programs and contracts. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required. Strong experience with budget management, contract execution, and financial oversight. In-depth knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, including
FAR/DFARS.
Proven success leading cross-functional teams and integrated project environments. Demonstrated experience in vendor and subcontractor management. Solid understanding of supply chain, procurement, and quality management principles. Technically proficient with the ability to understand and communicate complex systems and solutions. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Preferred Skills Expertise in defense acquisition lifecycle management. Strong stakeholder management and negotiation abilities. Experience working in highly regulated or mission-critical environments. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Stafford, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $170000.00 - $190000.00/yr.
