INCLUSION

Tutorial and Behavioral Services (TABS) program is specifically designed to support Kindergarten through 5th grade students whose primary disability is an emotional disability. The program places a strong emphasis on developing social-emotional learning (SEL) skills, with the goal of helping students build self-regulation, coping strategies, and positive relationship skills that allow them to access learning more successfully. Our services are individually tailored to students whose challenges are rooted in emotional regulation and behavioral functioning, and who would benefit most from targeted core instruction in reading, writing, math and SEL skill-building in a therapeutic tutorial setting before returning to a classroom setting.

Responsibilities:

Individually instruct Kindergarten - 5th grade students in core academics Daily lesson planning Collaborate with educational & clinical staff to assist in coordinating the education and mental health treatment for students

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree Teaching License, grades K-8 or License eligible Experience in the Education field (preferred) Experience with young children with learning challenges, trauma and other mental health challenges.

Structure:
