Job Description
SUMMARY
The Program Director leads a Division (made up of Integrated Product Teams IPTs) in pursuit of excellence in program performance (cost, schedule and technical), and overall contract execution. The Program Director cultivates a healthy work environment for Division personnel, sustains and grows Division workload, and is supported by Chief Engineers. Provides business, technical and/or strategic leadership on Division projectsStaffs projects with personnel that have the essential skills and experienceRegularly monitors cost, schedule and technical status of all Division projectsUltimately responsible for financial, schedule and technical performance of area of responsibility and IPTs withinCultivates a healthy work environment for Division personnel:
Makes the best use of personnel skills and experienceOversees personnel professional development (mentoring, training, career growth)Balances personnel workloadsAccountable for hiring and termination of Division membersUltimately responsible for all Division staffSustains Division workload:

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Required education: B.S. in Engineering or Related Science or FieldPreferred education: M.S. in Engineering or Related Science or FieldRequired experience:10+ years in space and defense industry Ability to develop, plan and execute projectsDemonstrated Division leader Experience with customer relations with space and defense industry prime contractors and government agenciesMust be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance.EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
