Job Description

The Family Well-Being Programs Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of family well-being programming. This position assists with program implementation, maintains accurate program data, develops and manages materials, supports grant compliance and reporting, and contributes to overall administrative and operational functions. This position reports to the Director of Family Well-Being and works closely with the Executive Director, Administrative Team, and Family Well-Being Team to ensure programs run smoothly and effectively serve families in the community. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, family-centered nonprofit environment. Key Responsibilities:
Program Support & Coordination Assist in the development, coordination, and implementation of family well-being programs and activities Support scheduling, logistics, and day-to-day program operations Help coordinate participant, community, and volunteer engagement and communication Prepare and organize program supplies and materials Provide on-site support during programming activities and events on an as needed basis Data Management & Reporting Maintain accurate and up-to-date program data and records Assist with data entry, tracking, and database management Support grant compliance by collecting required documentation and metrics Assist in preparing reports for funders and internal use Materials Development & Communications Create, update, and organize program materials, forms, and resources Assist in developing outreach materials and communications for families and communities Support engagement efforts to increase participation and retention Administrative & Operational Support Provide general administrative support across programs Assist with office organization, scheduling, and coordination between teams Support cross-departmental communication and collaboration Help ensure program operations align with organizational policies and procedures Qualifications & Skills Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, Teams, etc.) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable, punctual, and professional Commitment to supporting families and children in the community Flexibility and willingness to adapt to evolving program needs Positive, team-oriented attitude Strong problem-solving and time management skills Experience working in nonprofit, early education, or family services settings preferred Work Environment & Physical Requirements Combination of office-based and active work Frequent movement between buildings and program spaces Regular use of stairs Ability to lift and carry materials and supplies Driving between locations as needed; Valid driver's license and auto insurance is required Extended periods of computer-based work This job description is our best approximation of the job and is subject to change.
