Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented and motivated Senior Program Manager to support Amazon Legal's AI-related initiatives. The successful candidate will join the AWS Sales and Marketing Legal team and work closely with legal team members and cross-functional business partners to manage and run projects of varying complexity and size. The successful candidate will use their program management superpowers to support the legal team by creating and managing tools, educating and coaching legal colleagues on project management, and designing projects for global roll-out. The candidate will have the ability to see the big picture and incorporate problem solving, strategic thinking, and tactical execution with a focus on taking ownership of improving the team's systems and processes. The candidate must be inquisitive, enthusiastic about technology, enjoy working hard and being continually challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations. A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information, as well as the ability to work well with people at all levels is essential.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of program or project management experience Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams BA degree, or BS degreePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience designing, implementing, and scaling upskilling, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs across large-scale operations or corporate environments, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions Master's degree or above in a relevant field project management certification (e.g., APM, CSM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2) Experience with reporting and Data Visualization tools such as Quick Sight / Tableau / Power BI or other BI packages Knowledge of general AI tools Demonstrated ability to deliver both strategic and tactical results from inception to completion Ability to influence others without direct authority Exceptional judgment, creative problem-solving skills combined with business curiosity, and a strategic viewpoint Strong analytical skills including the ability to distill, synthesize, and draw conclusions on large amounts of data Experience with software development or managing a software system; including assessing cost/benefits and configuring for user experience Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
