Job Description

Job Title:
Sr. Program Manager Job Description As a Sr. Program Manager, you will manage the New Product Introduction Process (NPI) and Customer Produced Product Transfer (CPPT) for strategic programs that are essential to revenue, profitability, and future business opportunities. You will report regularly to Director and Officer levels to review NPI progress and evaluate processes and procedures to recommend improvements. This role involves managing assigned market segments by mentoring lower-level Program Managers and forming cross-functional launch teams to drive regular team meetings. Responsibilities Form and manage cross-functional launch teams, generating and tracking cross-functional action item lists and NPI checklist item archives. Assess risks, develop solutions, implement change, and communicate responsibilities across the organization. Manage and mentor strategic quotes and the Request for Quote (RFQ) process, elevating critical issues to upper management. Negotiate and administer contracts using strategic knowledge of the customer's business scope and sales strategy. Adapt business models to meet customer needs and ensure program success. Generate, maintain, and publish periodic reports on cost, quality, and delivery, including revenue plans and product roadmaps. Effectively communicate with all levels of management, both professionally and technically, in written and oral form. Essential Skills Minimum of 5 years of experience in program/project management. Understanding of NPI, CPPT, and contract manufacturing. 2+ years of experience in contract manufacturing. Strong skills in program management, project management, engineering, and accounting. Proficiency in contract negotiation and cost reporting. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical publications. Effective communication skills for small groups, including managers and clients. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or business preferred. Knowledge of cost accounting and proficiency in managing timelines. Seven years of experience in cross-functional project management, including two years in program management. Applied engineering mathematics, statistics, and business and economic analysis. Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project. Critical understanding of business practices from the sales process through production. Work Environment This position is onsite, Monday through Friday, with flexible start times to accommodate client locations in different time zones. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $83000.00 - $117000.00/yr.
