This position is located at the Joint Forces Headquarters (JFHQ), in Madison. This position will work full-time, Monday through Friday. The exact schedule will be determined with the finalist at the time of job offer. The DMA provides essential, effective, and responsive military and emergency management capability for the citizens of our state and nation. During emergencies, no single organization can handle the response. The DMA consists of several organizations working together to plan, prepare, coordinate, and respond effectively when our communities and neighbors need us the most. Working for Wisconsin State Government may make you eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program Position Summary The Anti-Terrorism Program Coordinator serves as the Joint Force Headquarters Wisconsin (JFHQ-WI) force protection security specialist for anti-terrorism and related security areas at Joint Army/Air facilities and all Army National Guard armories across the state of Wisconsin. The position will manage the JFHQ-WI antiterrorism program in accordance with the Wisconsin Army National Guard Anti-terrorism program (IAWAR 525-13
). The position is responsible for coordinating with Federal, State, and Military Law Enforcement information sharing, insider threat analysis and Suspicious Activity Reporting, utilizing the FBI e-guardian system and other law enforcement databases. The Anti-Terrorism Program Coordinator facilitates Threat Working Groups, provides analysis of criminal threat information to senior leadership for strategic planning, domestic operations decision making, and personal protection requirements. Salary Information Starting pay is between $38.00 and $42.00/ hr. This position is in the 81-03 pay schedule/range. A 12-month probation will be required. This position will work full-time, Monday through Friday. The exact schedule will be determined with the finalist at the time of job offer. Job Details Must be Level II Antiterrorism trained or attend the Level II class within 90 days of appointment. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, as travel to and from installations is required. In order to gain access to the military facilities and to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled, DMA will conduct a comprehensive background check. In addition, the position requires a Common Access Card (CAC). A CAC requires successful completion of a Department of Defense investigation which is an additional more in-depth federal background check, for gaining access to federal computer systems, restricted locations, or classified information The Department of Military Affairs does not sponsor work visas at the time of hire or anytime during employment. All persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required Employment Eligibility Form I-9. This is a State of Wisconsin Civil Service position. The DMA does not require current or previous military experience. All new permanent, project, and limited term employees will be required to report to Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) in Madison on the Monday of their first week of employment for the New Employee Orientation (NEO) program. Additional information will be sent to the new employees and their supervisors on the Tuesday prior to NEO. Qualifications Candidates who meet minimum qualifications will have experience with: Participated in the development of an anti-terrorism or security plan for an organization. Conducted vulnerability assessments regarding security and/or anti-terrorism. Successfully completed Anti-Terrorism Level 1 training. In addition to the minimum qualifications, well-qualified candidates will also have the following preferred qualifications : Planning and executing anti-terrorism exercises and drills. Developing, implementing and evaluating an anti-terrorism program. Sharing and coordinating information between law enforcement agencies at the federal, state and local levels.
