As a Program Coordinator - Flight Experiences , you'll help deliver unforgettable aviation experiences—supporting operations across WWII-era warbirds, vintage airliners, bi-planes, helicopters, national tours, Pioneer Airport, and AirVenture . This role is ideal for someone who doesn't just manage tasks—but owns outcomes, improves execution, and sees things through to completion . The program you help run has real impact—connecting thousands of people each year to aviation in a way that inspires, educates, and sparks lifelong passion. What You'll Do Coordinate and execute day-to-day operations for Flight Experiences programs Manage complex logistics for aircraft, crews, volunteers, and tour locations Support AirVenture, Pioneer Airport, and nationwide tour operations Lead volunteer coordination , including scheduling, communication, and on-site leadership Build strong relationships with volunteers and ensure a high-performing, engaged team Identify gaps, solve problems, and drive issues through to completion Collaborate cross-functionally with Aircraft Operations, Maintenance, Marketing, and Events Support planning, budgeting, and vendor coordination Continuously look for ways to strengthen program performance and execution What Makes This Role Unique Work with iconic aircraft , including WWII-era warbirds, vintage airliners, bi-planes, and helicopters Play a key role in leading and mobilizing a passionate volunteer community Be part of a national, mission-driven aviation program Own real outcomes—not just tasks—in a dynamic operational environment Opportunity to help run and improve a program that directly impacts participants Who You Are Detail-oriented —you don't let things fall through the cracks A strong decision-maker who can assess situations and act confidently Someone who finishes what they start and takes pride in execution Comfortable leading and coordinating volunteers and diverse teams Naturally wired to improve how things run , not just follow process Thinks with an ownership mindset —like building and running your own operation Thrives in a fast-paced environment where adaptability is key Experience in operations, events, aviation, or volunteer coordination (2-3 years preferred) Join the Team If you're the kind of person who sees what needs to be done, takes ownership, and drives it to completion—while helping deliver experiences that inspire, connect, and bring aviation to life —this is your opportunity.
