The Mechanical Project Coordinator will be responsible for Layout, fabrication, assemblies. Performs installation of steel structures, piping systems, pipe supports, fixtures, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Performs installation of equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and production and processing systems. This requires comprehensive knowledge in the Mechanical trades with more than eight (8) years of experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description - other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed. Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy Make decisions based on measurable criteria Apply mathematics to solve problems Plan basic work and select proper tools Visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings Work at heights without fear Compare and see differences in the size, shape and form of lines, figures and objects Responsible for all construction personnel on site; FTEs, Sub-Contractors, and Temps Has no control over Safety Personnel and will abide by and reinforce Safety Personnel's instructions Communicates Mechanical Bid Tab labor hours to Upper Management for every job providing clear expectations of manpower needs and demands including milestones Communicates Mechanical Bid Tab performance to Project Manager on a weekly basis Reports all construction personnel on site daily to Project Manager Responsible for reviewing and submitting all JSAs and Shift Logs Performs quality audits on all work performed on site Reviews all purchase requests submitted by field and sends approvals to Upper Management Other work as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required Minimum of 8 years experience in mechanical trades Perform and understand all competencies of Mechanical Levels 1 -4 Ability to manage projects efficiently and within budget Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with Clients and Upper Management Ability to provide accurate bill of material to Project Managers, Upper Management, and/or Clients as needed Ability to use all mechanical equipment Learn more about U.S.
