The Role:

The Project Manager leads the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of projects from initiation through completion. This role is responsible for aligning resources, budgets, timelines, and project objectives while proactively monitoring progress, addressing challenges, and ensuring stakeholders remain informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager serves as a central point of coordination, driving accountability and collaboration to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required standards. Plan, organize and direct all activities as required for the full implementation of project goals and objectives

Ensure that project activities are consistent with the project objectives and that objectives can be met.

Ensure the project meets targets, budgets and time-lines, with appropriate reporting and evaluation

Develop, complete and finalize all project deliverables according to the timeline with the assistance of the Site Management Team.

Coordinate activities with Contractors, Vendors, Employees, and local and state authorities, equipment suppliers and local site management team.

Coordinate, participate, facilitate and take minutes at the Project Steering Committee meetings

Ensure timely preparation of information and other written Documents/material as required for implementation of project activities

Ensure and maintain effective and on-going communication with individuals and groups involved directly or indirectly in the project

Continually monitor the progress of the project

Conduct an orderly, systematic and incremental evaluation of the project

Support program implementation between multiple sites in different geographic locations

Update the Site Management team on a regular basis about the progress of the project Interested?

If you have any of the below skills, we would love to talk to you about your next career move: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and including report writing, position paper development and publication/presentation of research results

Strong project management, organisation and software skills

PMP certification strongly preferred

Bachelors degree strongly preferred

Excellent interpersonal, time management, problem solving and organizational skills

Knowledge of Word, Project, PowerPoint and Excel
