Full Job Description Project Coordinator SUMMARY:
Advanced Technology Systems Company (ATSC) is looking for a full-time, on-site Project Coordinator/Scheduler to support multiple Programs in the Innovative Engineering Solutions (IES) Division located in Gilbert, AZ. ATSC has a very robust benefit plan to include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and 401K plan.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Supports effective management of ongoing programs and serves as liaison between Program Management, planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of programs and budgets; manages schedules, prepares status reports, and CDRL's. Assesses program issues and proposes resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring program progress and for intervention and problem solving with Program Managers, other functional managers, and customers. Responsible for ensuring contract requirements and subcontractor responsibilities are being accomplished including working on the definition and implementation of program planning techniques to provide visibility on the contract. Responsibilities may include developing budgets and schedules to meet contractual/program requirements for an assigned portion of a program, decomposing program plan requirements, and monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met.

Frequent use and application of industry practices, techniques, and standards. General application of concepts and principles. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives.
PROBLEM COMPLEXITY
Participates in the development of solutions to a variety of problems moderate in scope and complexity. Often refers to policies, procedures and practices for guidance.
FREEDOM TO ACT
Works under general direction on routine work but personal ownership of responsibilities is expected to meet the requirements of the program. May receive detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. Follows and helps establish and improve procedures. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy.
IMPACT:
Contributes to the completion of organizational projects/goals and success is evaluated on value/efficiencies added to the program.
LIASON:
Frequent internal company and external contacts. Represents organization on specific projects.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years project/program management support experience. Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word and Project. Advanced expertise in MS Project. Experience developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project. Experience developing and maintaining resources loaded with Integrated Master Schedules. Experience working closely with program management, technical teams, and finance to ensure integrated schedule alignment, resource tracking, and milestone forecasting. Knowledge and experience delivery Integrated Master Schedules in accordance with GAO Schedule Assessment Guide, December 22nd, 2015, GAO-16-89G and the PMOD Scheduling Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Detail-oriented, eager to learn and requires minimal supervision. Must be a U.S. citizen. Active DOD/DHS clearance is a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is typically performed in an office setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, bend, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see.
