Key Responsibilities May include but are not limited to:POSITION
The Project Coordinator is a highly proficient coordinator who operates independently while managing multiple or complex projects. This role mentors peers, supports other departments and markets during high workload or slowdowns, and anticipates project needs with minimal supervision. Essential DUTIES Project Documentation & File Management Independently maintain complete, audit-ready project files from kickoff through closeout. Ensure permits, drawings, safety documentation, and customer paperwork are accurate and current. Prepare complete and accurate closeout packages without oversight. Identify and correct documentation gaps proactively. Project Tracking & Reporting Maintain detailed project tracking logs and status reports. Monitor milestones, deadlines, and outstanding items without prompting. Proactively follow up with PMs, CMs, crews, and vendors. Assist PMs with reporting accuracy and project updates. Communication & Coordination Serve as a reliable communication link between office, field, vendors, and customers. Anticipate PM/CM needs and obtain required information ahead of time. Provide clear updates on project documentation and status. Customer & Compliance Support Manage customer portals and documentation uploads. Track COIs, safety documentation, and compliance paperwork. Ensure projects consistently meet customer documentation standards. Administrative & Logistical Support Assist with materials coordination, equipment logistics, and scheduling support. Maintain project calendars and task planning. Support PM/CM administrative needs related to project flow. Cross-Training, Mentoring & Special Projects Crosstrain and mentor PCs across departments and across markets. Assist other PCs and departments during slowdowns. Work on special PC improvement projects during off-peak times. Any and all other duties assigned. This position demands occupation in an office environment that regularly uses standard office equipment requiring the ability to communicate in person and over the telephone with other employees, the ability to interpret printed materials and a computer screen, the stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, the ability to lift and carry supplies and files weighing up to 25 pounds and to move about the inside of the office to access supplies, office machinery, etc. Employee might be exposed to various chemicals, vapors, pollutants, virus or other air-borne pathogens, gases, uneven surfaces, loud noises, moving vehicles or machines and dust/debris.EXPECTED POSITION HOURS
This is a full-time position that works from the office. Willingness to work extended hours during critical project phases. Minimum Requirements Education and Work Experience A high school diploma or GED is required. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred. Minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of progressive experience in administrations or coordination within construction, telecommunications, or related project-based industry. Successful mastery of the duties listed in the PC I role. Skills and Abilities Strong organizational and documentation discipline. Multi-tasking, quick turnarounds and working within deadlines. Professional and polished communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects independently. Strong mentoring and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Certifications, Licenses, and other Requirements Minimum age of 21 years old. Successful completion and clearance of a pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and background check.AAP/EEO STATEMENT
