Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Deliver high-quality patient care as a skilled physical therapist in a hospital-based outpatient setting. In this vital contract position, you will evaluate and treat patients, implement evidence-based therapy interventions, collaborate closely with physicians, and help individuals return to active participation in their communities. Key Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Experience with therapy services in a hospital or outpatient environment Strong clinical reasoning and ability to develop effective treatment plans Exceptional documentation skills, with clear and timely medical record keeping Commitment to safety protocols, patient confidentiality, and professional codes of conduct Ability to educate patients, families, colleagues, and students Dedication to ongoing professional development
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans aligned with patient goals and physician directives Delegate and oversee therapy services provided by support staff for assigned patients Design functional programs to facilitate patient return to daily and community activities Provide patient, family, and peer education Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant documentation of patient care and progress Participate in student mentorship and supervision when required Maintain licensure and uphold all regulatory, clinic, and ethical standards Actively participate in continuous quality improvement efforts for service excellence Model core values focused on patient and workplace safety Enjoy making an impact in a collaborative, supportive clinic while advancing your professional skills within a dynamic healthcare environment.
