We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the daily operations of our WIOA Adult and Dislocated Worker program. This position plays a key leadership role by assisting the Project Director with program oversight, staff supervision, compliance, reporting, and performance management. Position Summary The Project Coordinator reports directly to the Project Director and is responsible for monitoring program effectiveness, assisting with staff supervision, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and supporting the achievement of program performance goals. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist with onboarding, training, mentoring, and supervision. Support staff development by providing coaching and guidance to Career Specialists. Review participant files and program documentation for accuracy and compliance. Assist with program performance forecasting, reporting, and analysis. Provide guidance to staff regarding job development, Work Experience (WEX), and On-the-Job Training (OJT) opportunities. Assist with approval and oversight of participant services and program activities. Review participant case notes and records within the case management system. Support policy implementation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local workforce regulations. Monitor enrollments, exits, training expenditures, and participant outcomes. Assist in monitoring training approvals and funding requests. Review weekly reports and track staff productivity. Collaborate with Performance Specialists to improve data quality and reduce errors. Provide technical assistance and ongoing coaching to staff. Conduct file reviews and assist in preparation for program monitoring and audits. Review and approve participant timesheets, contracts, and incentive requests. Facilitate staff meetings, workshops, and training sessions as needed. Stay informed of system updates and policy changes. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Minimum of 2 years of related professional experience. Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to supervise, motivate, and develop staff. Experience managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to build positive working relationships with staff, customers, and community partners. Knowledge of employment services, job placement, or workforce development preferred. Ability to occasionally work nontraditional hours as needed. Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Human Services, Education, or a related field. Previous supervisory experience. Bilingual (English and Spanish) Experience working with workforce programs or other federally funded workforce programs.
