Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Perform end-to-end management of a single or portfolio of projects with
TCV 500K
- $1Mn in deliverables based or outcome-based model, ensuring the agreed scope, timelines, and cost are met. Fully ensure project success, acceptance criteria, and enhanced customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Identify key stakeholders, establish and maintain positive business relationships, maintain regular communication, and address needs with empathy.
  • Project Planning & Execution:
  • Define activities, responsibilities, milestones, resources, skill needs, interfaces, and budgets. Optimize costs, time utilization, minimize waste, and deliver projects on time and within budget with high quality.
  • Risk Management:
  • Anticipate possible risks, manage them using suitable strategies, and develop contingency plans.
  • Governance:
  • Define and implement project governance models.
  • Performance Management:
  • Plan and implement metrics-driven management and quantitatively assess project health.
  • Process Orchestration:
  • Orchestrate projects to develop or implement new processes to meet business needs. Implement software delivery methodologies and instill customer confidence.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Build, manage, and nurture high-performing teams, provide mentoring, ensure engagement, develop capabilities, ensure seamless communication, and resolve conflicts.

  • Adopt and build software engineering best practices for broader team leverage.
  • Scope Management:
  • Conduct requirements analysis, elicitation, control, and prioritization. Drive common standards (design documents, traceability matrix, etc.). Partner with customers for requirements.   • Estimation and Resource Planning:
  • Consolidate estimates, evaluate risks, and validate from a technical standpoint. Review and negotiate estimates across service lines. Conduct resource planning and impact analysis for changes. Identify roles and skills based on project requirements and KPIs.
  • Project/Schedule Management:
  • Identify and plan end-to-end activities for project acceptance. Plan and manage multiple small/medium projects/modules. Identify risks and mitigation strategies. Anticipate schedule delays and dependencies. Identify options to fast-track schedules. Estimate work, plan, track activities, and report progress.
  • Risk/Issue Management:
  • Proactively identify dependencies impacting project KPIs and track them. Identify and track project risks, following escalation paths. Document, communicate, and track the impact of risks and issues.
  • Test and Defect Management:
  • Ensure test approach is defined and agreed. Support system integration testing. Review/mentor teams during test execution. Support test strategy and scenario definition. Understand the business impact of defects. Prioritize and triage defects. Identify and analyze root causes. Interpret results.
  • Configuration Management:
  • Ensure and drive configuration processes within the project scope. Provide information and demonstrate work during configuration audits and implement corrective actions.

  • Define/adopt tooling strategy. Guide teams to develop efficient, high-quality work products. Meet project goals, ensure process compliance, and mentor teams.
  • Governance (Quality):

  • Guide research on key business environments and competitive landscapes. Understand how solutions meet client requirements. Identify key industry parameters for market sensing.
  • Technology Concepts:
  • Understand customer technology landscapes. Map business requirements to technology requirements. Set customer expectations. Leverage knowledge for daily work and team skill upgrades. Provide inputs on potential opportunity areas.
  • Profitability Management:
  • Analyze project profitability. Create profitability sheets, modify parameters, and identify margin impacts. Carry out basic deal pricing and apply project principles for profitability improvement.
  • Pricing & Licensing Models:
  • Define pricing models for medium complex projects. Conduct estimations for complex projects. Understand pricing strategies and business models. Review simple proposals.
  • Knowledge Management (KM):
  • Establish KM plans and platforms for new joiners and team knowledge sharing. Ensure project learnings are contributed to the repository. Enable organization-level KM Platforms for consumption.
  • Account Management Processes and Tools:
  • Comply with account management activities and drive relevant KPIs. Ability to write contracts mitigating potential risks. Collaborate with other projects and enabling functions.
  • Solution Structuring:
  • Present proposed solutions highlighting benefits and roadmaps. Define Win Themes and carve out simple solutions/POCs. Review proposals for completeness.
