This role requires close coordination with senior management, estimating, detailing, fabrication, and field teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with contract documents, codes, and industry standards. Project Planning & Coordination
  • Coordinate and manage multiple structural steel projects simultaneously in collaboration with senior management.
  • Review contracts, job specifications, and scope of work for accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain project checklists in coordination with the estimator.
  • Review preliminary and detailed project schedules and monitor progress throughout execution.
  • Share delivery and erection sequences with detailing teams.
  • Compare pricing, confirm scope, and release detailers with tentative schedules.
  • Identify long-lead-time materials and ensure timely procurement. Client & Stakeholder Communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with customers to review installation and delivery schedules and sequencing.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to support repeat business and future project opportunities.
  • Provide regular project updates including budgets, schedules, and overall status. Technical & Drawing Management
  • Generate RFls and maintain comprehensive project logs; manage documentation in shared project platforms.
  • Receive, review, and transmit drawings in the following stages:
  • IFA (Issued for Approval): Drawings issued for customer, engineer, or architect approval.
  • BFA (Back from Approval): Drawings returned with comments and approvals; coordinate and verify revisions.
  • IFC (Issued for Construction/Fabrication): Final approved drawings released for fabrication and installation.
  • Review and coordinate drawing corrections to meet contract requirements, codes, and customer standards.
  • Release approved IFC drawings for production and installation.
  • Submit weld procedures and coating specifications for approval.
  • Generate and manage NCRs and CARs as required. Cost Control & Billing
  • Prepare, track, and maintain project budgets and actual costs against purchase orders.
  • Generate Schedule of Values (SOV) and verify billing submission dates.
  • Review weekly project billings and provide required reporting.
  • Share budgets, schedules, and project status weekly with the project team.
