$77,500 - $80,000 Annual Salary (DOE) Professional Renovation Services is seeking a motivated and organized Junior Restoration Project Manager to assist in managing residential, commercial, and multifamily restoration and reconstruction projects. This position is ideal for an individual with construction, restoration, mitigation, or insurance repair experience who is looking to advance their career into a senior project management role. The Junior Project Manager will work closely with Senior Project Managers and company leadership to coordinate projects, assist with customer communication, oversee field operations, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards. This role serves as a liaison between customers, field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and insurance representatives while helping ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all parties involved. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination Assist in managing restoration and reconstruction projects from start to completion. Coordinate schedules for field crews, subcontractors, inspections, and material deliveries. Conduct job site visits to monitor project progress and quality. Assist with project planning, scheduling, and execution. Ensure projects remain on schedule and communicate delays when necessary. Customer Service & Communication Serve as a point of contact for homeowners, tenants, property managers, and commercial clients. Provide project updates and maintain positive customer relationships. Assist in resolving customer concerns and service-related issues. Maintain professional communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Documentation & Administration Maintain accurate project files, notes, photographs, and daily logs. Assist with job documentation required for insurance carriers and clients. Update company software with project information, schedules, and progress reports. Help prepare estimates, change orders, work authorizations, and project reports. Assist with project billing and invoicing processes. Field Operations Support Assist with coordinating mitigation crews, reconstruction crews, and subcontractors. Verify that work is completed according to company standards and scope requirements. Monitor job site cleanliness, organization, and professionalism. Ensure materials and equipment are available as needed for project completion. Financial Oversight Assist in tracking project budgets and job costs. Monitor labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses. Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability. Assist Project Managers in maintaining target profit margins. Safety & Compliance Promote and enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements. Assist with job site safety inspections and hazard identification. Ensure crews and subcontractors maintain safe working practices. Verify compliance with company procedures and applicable building codes. Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in restoration, construction, reconstruction, mitigation, insurance repair, or related industries preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Basic understanding of construction methods and restoration practices. Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and project management software. Experience with Xactimate is a plus but not required. Valid California Driver's License with an acceptable driving record. Ability to work in both office and field environments.
