Responsible for planning and managing manufacturing projects from initial contract review through final shipment. Review contracts, drawings, models, and specifications; create estimates, job releases, and bills of materials; coordinate material sourcing; and collaborate with shop personnel, engineers, and program management to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Review contracts, drawings, engineering data packages, and specifications Create project estimates and initiate job releases from those estimates Calculate material requirements using ERP software, and coordinate with purchasing to source materials and outside services from approved vendors Monitor job progress and maintain accurate status reporting Serve as liaison between production floor and engineering to address technical challenges Keep program management informed of delivery schedules and proactively address any concerns Own full project lifecycle accountability from planning through shipment Other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma/GED Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience preferred 2+ years in production planning, project coordination, or manufacturing engineering Solid understanding of machining/fabrication operations and associated processes Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat Comfortable working with ERP/MRP systems (Job
