Ability to apply common sense understanding to conduct instructionsfurnishedin written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to manage problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to effectively interact cross-departmentally to drive project goals within target timelines. How you will thrive and create an impact Schedules and/or facilitates meetings as needed for projects, business unit meetings, and design review meetings to support the development and progression of projects. Captures minutes and action items for disbursement to attendees. Follows up on action items assigned to owners and reports back on status to team and attendees. Works closely with Project Leads to create project plans for commercialization and/or department projects, primarily using standard templates.
Assiststeams in checking documentation and/or processesrequiredto complete project activities and meet project deliverables. Utilizes the company's electronic Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) System (Oracle Agile) to create, update, andmaintainthe project plans. Learns the system well to become a skilled user and a resource of knowledge to other users. Utilizes SAP to process and facilitate prototype delivery. Tracks and reports team metrics. Works on day-to-day project management support tasks, following a set of procedures, contributing to project management operations. Participates in project status meetings. Communicates with internal and/or external contacts on project-related matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation. Delivers on requests in a timely manner, communicating any delays or issues. Ensures all aspects of the project are organized. Ensure project report outs are scheduled with appropriate stakeholders. Performs other duties as assigned that support the department, business units, and/or direct manager. Will occasionally need to enter laboratory spaces requiring safety shoes and glasses.
The Opportunity:
The Project Coordinator assists project leads to ensure projects are completed on time. May oversee small parts of the larger project and is primarily responsible for administrative tasks. Responsible for coordinating stakeholders, attending meetings, and driving projects. What we're looking forEducation:
High school diploma or GED preferred.Experience:
Project management experience is a plus. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively in teams, strong organizational skills, and the ability to balance a variety of prioritized tasks. Project management coursework a plus. Self-starter who works well with minimal supervision. Rapport-building connects quickly and builds trust with clients and teams. Initiative-taking identifies and resolves issues before they escalate. Preferred Qualifications Must be computer literate in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Working knowledge in SAP, Microsoft Project, and/or Oracle Agile a plus. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,standard work instructions, and standard operating procedures. Ability to read andcomprehendwritten and oral communications.
