Devices Location:
Irvine, Ca or Arden Hills, MN Duration:
12 months Most important experience areas:
  • Medical device industry project management
  • Software project/program management within regulated environments
  • Cross functional integration leadership
  • Experience driving enterprise or product integration initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Agile methodologies within medical device software environments Please avoid profiles that are primarily:
  • Generic IT PMs
  • Infrastructure PMs
  • Pharma clinical PMs
  • PMs without software experience
  • Candidates lacking regulated medical device exposure
  • Candidates without true cross-functional leadership experience This role appears to be much more focused on software/product integration leadership than general PMO coordination.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering or Business and 5+ years of work experience in software, product development or related field AND 5+ years Project Management experience in the Medical Device industry Demonstrated project management experience leading cross functional teams and managing project scope, schedule, and budget Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal written, and presentation) Results-oriented, positive attitude focused on delivering timely, accurate and best in class execution Ability to draw conclusions and make business recommendations based on cross-functional team input Proficiency in MS Office applications including MS Project Proficiency in MS Point Ability to travel intermittently (up to 20%) to support effective team performance and collaboration Preferred Qualifications Experience with utilizing agile project management 5+ years Project Management experience managing software projects within the Medical Device field, knowledge and application of applicable software ISO and IEC standards in the project scope
