Position Summary Wyandotte Technologies is seeking an experienced, Engineering Project Manager lead and integrate multidisciplinary engineering, construction, and support teams. Key responsibilities include the day-to-day management of all project phases—planning, programming, acquisition, execution, and closeout—in strict compliance with the Project Management Institute's (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and DOE Order 413.3B, Program and Project Management for the Acquisition of Capital Assets.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities Project Planning and Definition:

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and validate project requirements, defining a project's scope, schedule, budget, and key deliverables. Prepare critical project documentation, including comprehensive work plans, management briefings, and detailed cost estimates.

Execution and Oversight:

Direct and coordinate all design and construction activities. Perform regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality control, enforce safety protocols, and facilitate necessary field coordination. Proactively manage project resources to ensure the timely delivery of quality outcomes.

Performance and Financial Management:

Establish and track key project performance metrics against the approved baseline. The Sr. PM will analyze performance data, identify variances, and recommend and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain project objectives. Participate in the budget formulation process for current and future fiscal years.

Contract and Construction Management:

Develop, review, and provide expert commentary on project documents such as Statements of Work (SOW) and Performance Work Statements (PWS). During the construction phase, provide direct construction management support to the federal Construction Manager. Provide authoritative technical review and guidance on contractor submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and proposed modifications to ensure all work validates against contract specifications.

Communication and Reporting:

Serve as a primary liaison, facilitating communication between WAPA, construction contractors, vendors, and other government agencies. Prepare and deliver regular written and oral project reports on status, risks, and performance to federal leadership.

Compliance and Closeout:

Ensure all project activities adhere to relevant industry codes, government standards, and federal requirements. Plan, facilitate, and document project lessons learned and provide a final report to federal supervision upon project completion. The PM will utilize industry-standard construction management software and MS Office to manage and report on all project activities. Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5-years' experience with managing and scheduling high voltage (HV) or extra high voltage (EHV) electrical and/or civil projects for electric utilities or hydro facilities, including new, partial, or renovations to substations, switchyards, transmission lines, etc.
• Requires knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in project management and knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in area of technical expertise.
• Must have the ability to schedule, supervise, coordinate, and monitor the work of others and be able to manage multiple projects and tasks within assigned projects.
• Must be able to provide guidance and training to less experienced Project Managers.
• Must be proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Familiar with government acquisition policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of industry-standard construction management software and MS Office desired Education/Certification Bachelor's degree in construction management or Business or similar career field.
• Project management professional certification.
