The Global Data & Digital Innovation (GDDI) team is pivotal in advancing Kite's technology transformation to deliver premier Healthcare Provider experiences through advanced digital experiences, data and analytics. We are seeking a Business Strategy & Operations (BS&O) Manager with demonstrated commercial life science and digital technology expertise - Advanced therapy experience (e.g. CGT) highly valued.
GDDI is delivering an ambitious portfolio of data and digital investments, and requires a disciplined and self-starting BS&O manager to drive strategic planning, portfolio governance, stakeholder communications and operational rigor - ensuring that priorities, investments, and execution remain tightly aligned to business outcomes and enterprise value. The Team This is a key role in Kite's Global Digital, Data & Innovation team (GDDI) and reports to the Executive Director, Commercial. The GDDI team are accountable for developing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for all digital technologies, data & analytics solutions used by Kite's Commercial function, and the customers it serves. GDDI collaborate with teams across the enterprise (Commercial, TechOps, Clinical, IT, Legal / Compliance etc.) to deliver on these capability roadmaps, with initiatives ranging in scale from multi-year digital transformation to ongoing enhancement of Commercial technologies delivered via agile release. Your Responsibilities This role blends strategy, operations, governance, and execution leadership. Core responsibilities include:
Strategy & Planning Support development and execution of GDDI strategic priorities, annual objectives, and multi‐year transformation roadmaps.
Translate executive strategy into clear operating plans, milestones, and outcomes.
Drive structured problem-solving and decision frameworks to inform leadership choices. Portfolio & Investment Governance Operate and evolve portfolio management and prioritization across GDDI initiatives
Support business case development, ROI tracking, and capacity / funding trade-off decisions
Enable transparent governance forums and executive readiness materials Operating Model & Execution Excellence Establish and run GDDI operating cadence (e.g. portfolio reviews, roadmap updates)
Partner with Commercial, IT, and Vendor leads to track execution against commitments
Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks - driving mitigation plans early. Transformation Enablement Support large-scale programs including:
Digital and data platform modernization
AI strategy, implementation and scale-out
Global operating model evolution
Launch and scale‐up readiness for new therapies and geographies
Enable cross‐functional alignment across Commercial, Medica Affairs, TechOps, and IT Change, Communications & Commercial Enablement Drive change management and adoption strategies in partnership with program leads
Develop clear executive communications, narratives, and performance readouts
Strengthen documentation, knowledge management, and continuity practices Performance Measurement & Value Realization Define and track KPIs tied to business outcomes, adoption, and value delivery
Elevate insights on portfolio health, performance trends, and realized benefits Required Knowledge, Experience & Skills Strategic & Operational Experience 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, transformation, or consulting roles
Demonstrated success operating in complex, matrixed, global environments
Experience supporting senior leadership and executive governance forums
Industry & Domain Knowledge Experience in life sciences, healthcare, or regulated industries strongly preferred
Exposure to digital transformation, data & analytics, or enterprise platforms
Understanding of compliance, risk management, and enterprise delivery models
Analytical & Problem-Solving Strong analytical mindset with ability to structure ambiguity and synthesize insights
Expertise building operating models, prioritization frameworks, and performance metrics
Communication & Influence Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to influence without authority and align diverse stakeholders
Experience creating executive‐ready materials and narratives
Ways of Working Strong organizational discipline and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strategic perspective
Comfortable working in agile and hybrid delivery environments Education & Certifications Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
