DESCRIPTION
BENEFITS QUESTIONS The Grant Project Coordinator is responsible for the daytoday implementation of an active US Department of Education Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education FIPSE Research Development Infrastructure RDI grant This role involves supporting the project team in programmatic operational compliance and budgetary components of the grant to ensure objectives are met effectively efficiently and in accordance with federal regulations and institutional policies The Grant Project Coordinator collaborates with the RDI Project leadership team PIPDs CSU Fullerton Auxiliary Services Corporation ASC key campus stakeholders and external partners to support successful project implementation This grant funded position is anticipated to end by •Please be aware that funding for this position is awarded through a GrantContract over a specified period Employment for this position beyond current GrantContract funding is contingent upon continued funding Essential Duties Coordinate daytoday operational execution of grant activities to ensure alignment with the approved scope of work performance objectives and established timelines Develop and maintain project management systems implementation timelines and tracking mechanisms Monitor performance measures and milestones; identify issues and propose solutions for corrective strategies as needed Serve as liaison between the Principal Investigators PIs and Project Directors PDs Auxiliary Services ASC and campus financial offices Monitor and track grant expenditures to ensure allowability allocability and compliance with federal cost principles CFR Review budget allocations and provide recommendations to ensure effective and compliant use of funds Coordinate preparation of required federal performance financial and continuation reports Coordinate with PIPDs and external evaluator to track deliverables and project milestones for grant annual reporting Develop and maintain data tracking systems and documentation to ensure complete and accurate records related to grant activities expenditures and outcomes Develop and maintain procedures forms and documentation to support project implementation Support project communication marketing dissemination and sustainability efforts Ensure adherence to US Department of Education regulations EDGAR Uniform Guidance CFR and applicable federal state and CSU policies and regulations Qualifications Minimum three years of experience managing an awarded grant or externally funded project Demonstrated knowledge of grant compliance and reporting requirements Experience with budget development monitoring and financial tracking Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to independently manage priorities and meet internal and external deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills including preparation of formal reports Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities Familiarity with project management approaches and associated Project Management software and reporting tools Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Word Excel PowerPoint and relevant software systems Detailoriented with a proactive and solutionsfocused approach Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
EDUCATION
Minimum Bachelor's degree from an accredited fouryear college or university
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Prolonged sitting for extended periods; frequently use a computer keyboard mouse and other standard office equipment; and communicate effectively in person by phone and via video conferencing The employee may occasionally need to stand walk bend or reach to access files attend meetings or support oncampus project activities and may occasionally lift andor move light materials typically up to pounds such as binders boxes of documents or event supplies
