General Job Description:
Project Manager/Customer Service is responsible for the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project by creating a work order and instructions per client's specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Correspond with potential and existing clients regarding new or existing projects via phone, email, or face to face Answer all client calls and emails in a timely manner Have one-on-one meeting with clients. Creates production work orders based on client specifications and sales quotes Coordinate with client about receiving components Provide product information and order status to clients and sales representatives Pull and send samples of production run to client. Manage materials, supplier management, open sales orders, open quotations, and oversees that each Customer order is completed on time Coordinate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, Warehouse, and Accounting departments to ensure a smooth and accurate information flow and adherence to schedules Review new orders for completeness and enter new orders/change orders into the system Maintain files, resolves order issues Follow orders through the system, expediting as required, and maintain visibility of order statuses Creates bill of ladings for outbound shipments Audits post-production work orders for inventory usage Clears up leftover inventory after a run or bill storage per information provided by warehouse and project manager on where the customer stands Creates and reviews invoices, billing that has not been sent to the client, and assists to ensure invoices are processed and sent to the customers Gather End of Month inventories and cost of components when components are purchased but customer yet not processed/billed customers Represent the company with excellence Participates in company training and compliance tasks for audits and facility operations Reports to General Manager and Customer Service Manager Other daily duties related to Customer support may be assigned
Qualifications Needed:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers via phone, email, or in person Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skills Adept at MRP/ERP systems Knowledge of contract packaging and manufacturing (primary & secondary) Knowledge of part numbers and BOM creations Knowledge of inventory controls, reporting, analysis Knowledge of food safety: emphasizing in food & supplement GMP's, USDA Organic, and NSF practices Quick learner & self-motivated Detail oriented, well organized, and efficient Able to work alone and with team members Able to handle several projects at one time within a set time frame
