Job Description
We are partnered with a well-established millwork fabrication company serving restaurants, hotels, and other hospitality environments. We are seeking an experienced project manager who can oversee custom millwork projects from award through installation while maintaining quality, accuracy, and client satisfaction. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the unique requirements of hospitality construction. Key Responsibilities Project oversight — Manage multiple millwork projects from kickoff through closeout. Drawing review — Interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications to confirm scope and materials. Scheduling and coordination — Develop project schedules and coordinate with shop production teams to meet deadlines. Client and contractor communication — Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, general contractors, and vendors. Site visits — Conduct field measurements, verify conditions, and plan installation logistics. Budget management — Prepare budgets, track costs, and issue change orders. Quality control — Coordinate with designers, engineers, fabricators, and installers to ensure accuracy and craftsmanship. Safety compliance — Ensure all safety standards and company procedures are followed. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in millwork, construction, or woodworking project management (hospitality preferred). Strong understanding of millwork fabrication, materials, and finishes. Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings. Excellent organization, time management, and multi-project coordination skills. Strong communication and negotiation abilities. Proficiency in project management software; AutoCAD/Bluebeam experience is a plus. Knowledge of restaurant/hotel construction, ADA requirements, and hospitality design standards preferred.
