Project Manager - Cabinet Shop Job Summary The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing custom cabinetry and millwork projects from initial approval through final installation. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to customer specifications while coordinating between sales, design, production, and installation teams. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Coordination Manage cabinet and millwork projects from contract approval through completion. Review drawings, specifications, and scope of work for accuracy and completeness. Develop project timelines and production schedules. Coordinate project kickoff meetings with design, engineering, production, and installation teams. Client Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and designers. Provide regular project updates and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Address change orders, design revisions, and project adjustments. Production & Shop Coordination Work closely with the cabinet shop production manager to schedule fabrication. Ensure materials, hardware, and finishes are ordered and available when needed. Monitor production progress and resolve issues that may impact deadlines. Installation Coordination Schedule installation crews and coordinate with job site contractors. Ensure site readiness before delivery and installation. Address field issues and coordinate solutions with the shop and design teams. Ensure any health and safety concerns are addressed on job sites. Budget & Cost Management Track project budgets, labor hours, and material costs. Approve and document change orders. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards. Quality Control Ensure cabinetry meets design specifications, shop drawings, and company standards. Coordinate inspections before delivery and installation. Oversee project punch lists and final completion. Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience in cabinetry, millwork, construction, or woodworking project management. Strong understanding of cabinet construction, materials, hardware, and finishes. Ability to read shop drawings, architectural plans, and specifications. Experience coordinating fabrication, delivery, and installation. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office. Preferred Skills Experience with Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, or AutoCAD. Knowledge of residential and commercial construction processes. Knowledge of ADA, WIC, and seismic regulations. Knowledge of materials used in the cabinet industry. Strong problem-solving and scheduling abilities. Work Environment Combination of office, cabinet shop floor, and job site visits. Regular interaction with designers, production staff, installers, and clients. We're looking for a dependable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. This role starts as part-time, with the potential for additional hours for candidates with cabinet experience.
Responsibilities:
Operate a 20-foot box truck safely and efficiently Load and unload deliveries, including possible heavy lifting and carrying Transport goods to various locations, primarily out of town Perform "tailgate deliveries" (minimal lifting required; includes driving and moving items to the back of the truck) Ensure timely and accurate deliveries Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to handle physical work, including heavy lifting Dependable, punctual, and professional Experience driving box trucks is a plus

Our product includes residential and commercial cabinets serving N. California and Nevada. Small but well-equipped shop with 3-6 employees, we produce custom products at a production pace. Fast paced environment, candidates must be motivated and energetic. This is a working position sometimes working in all areas of the shop.
