Project (Design) Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce is seeking an experienced Project (Design) Manager for a role based in Irvine, CA.

Summary:

The candidate will manage multiple projects of varying complexity, ensuring delivery within defined timelines and budgets, and collaborating across electrical, mechanical, and software engineering teams at the system level.

REQUIREMENTS

• The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (advanced degree preferred) and 5+ years of experience developing products, ideally within the device design industry
• This role requires strong knowledge of global standards for design controls, risk management, and electrical safety, along with experience working in a phase-gate development environment
• Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment
• PMP certification is preferred The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.

We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
