Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Operations professional to support procurement operations, operational excellence initiatives, and business process optimization within a regulated environment. This role will focus on procure to pay activities, vendor coordination, invoice resolution, operational analytics, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, excellent stakeholder management skills, and hands on experience supporting complex business operations. This opportunity requires collaboration across Finance, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and operational teams to improve efficiency and ensure timely execution of critical business processes. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast paced enterprise environment and supporting strategic operational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end to end procure to pay processes including vendor onboarding, purchase order coordination, and invoice resolution activities Support operational issue resolution by partnering with Finance, Procurement, and Accounts Payable teams Analyze operational metrics and develop dashboards, trackers, and reporting insights for leadership review Identify process gaps and support operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives Develop and maintain operational documentation, process guidance, and SharePoint resources Support data analysis and reporting activities using Excel, Smartsheet, Power BI, and related tools Coordinate with cross functional business partners to improve workflow efficiency and operational transparency Assist with automation, digitization, and AI enabled operational improvement projects Prepare business presentations, operational summaries, and reporting materials for leadership discussions
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required Minimum 8 years of professional experience Minimum 6 years of business operations, procurement, finance, or accounting experience Minimum 3 years supporting procurement operations, purchasing processes, or financial operations Experience working in pharmaceutical, healthcare, biotech, or regulated environments preferred Strong knowledge of procure to pay processes, vendor contracts, purchase orders, and invoice management Hands on experience with ERP systems and operational reporting tools Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Experience working in cross functional and matrixed enterprise environments
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with operational excellence or continuous improvement initiatives Experience using Power BI, Smartsheet, SharePoint, and analytics tools Lean or Six Sigma certification Experience supporting AI enabled workflow optimization initiatives Familiarity with FDA or EU regulated environments Experience building dashboards, metrics, and executive reporting materials
