Job Description
Senior Project Controls EngineerComplex Construction & Advanced Manufacturing ProjectsWe're looking for a Senior Project Controls Engineer to strengthen our project controls team and support some of the most complex construction programs in the market. Our work spans large-scale data centers, semiconductor facilities, advanced manufacturing plants, and automotive production environments, where precision, speed, and execution excellence are critical.
In this role, you'll partner closely with client project managers, construction teams, and senior stakeholders to build, manage, and control CPM schedules across the full project lifecycle. What You'll Be DoingDevelop, maintain, and manage logic-driven CPM construction schedules from baseline through completionTranslate drawings, specifications, and contract documents into fully integrated baseline schedules with key milestonesExecute progress updates, schedule narratives, and performance reportingAnalyze schedules against execution strategy, identifying risks, constraints, and recovery opportunitiesPerform critical path and near-critical path analysis and recommend mitigation strategiesConduct site visits to validate progress and support monthly reporting cyclesReview contractor schedule performance and clearly present findings to client and leadership teamsBuild and track KPIs, benchmarks, and program metricsSupport cost, resource, and forecast reporting in alignment with schedule performanceIdentify schedule risks, change impacts, and entitlement considerationsCommunicate project status, challenges, and recommendations with clarity and confidenceCollaborate with project teams, clients, owners, and external partners across multiple workstreamsWhat We're Looking For5+ years of experience in project controls and CPM scheduling within vertical constructionBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, Project Management, or similar (degree may be waived with equivalent industry experience)Advanced proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and specificationsSolid understanding of construction sequencing, means, and methodsExperience delivering schedules for large, complex projects exceeding $100MHands-on experience with cost loading, resource management, and reportingWorking knowledge of contractual scheduling and planning clausesStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholdersComfortable balancing multiple fast-paced projects simultaneouslyAACEI PSP and/or PMI-SP certification strongly preferredWillingness to travel periodically to regional project sitesWhy Join Us?
