This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage complex electrical systems, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive manufacturing experience, and a understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles to drive project success and client satisfaction. Duties Lead the planning, execution, and closing of electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate with engineers, and internal teams to develop comprehensive project plans and schedules using DEI project management internal software. Manage procurement processes including component estimating, cost management, and contract negotiations to optimize project resources. Oversee assembly schedule coordination, monitor progress throughout the entire warehouse, and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines. Ensure all electrical systems are designed and installed in accordance with industry standards, safety regulations, and electrical building codes. Conduct drawing reviews, system design assessments, and quality inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship. Facilitate communication across all project phases—from raw metal cutting to bending, Bus bar punching and assembly to ensure a timely resolution of issues. Lead project team members by providing clear direction, managing performance expectations, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Maintain comprehensive project documentation including reports on progress, safety incidents, change orders, and compliance records. Manage and motivate a team of 35-45 team members daily. Requirements Proven experience managing large-scale switchgear and RPP projects within the manufacturing industry; prior roles in electrical project management are highly preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles including system design, schematics reading, electrical blueprint review. Familiarity with electrical estimating techniques and cost management strategies to control budgets effectively. Ability to interpret construction drawings accurately and coordinate assembly schedules seamlessly using Microsoft Office Suite or specialized project scheduling software. Excellent leadership skills with a track record of managing diverse teams on busy manufacturing and assembly projects while maintaining safety standards. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently through effective time management practices. Manufacturing experience coupled with knowledge of electrical systems and switchgear is essential for success in this role.
