You will lead our internal Tesla Construction team and collaborate cross-functionally with base build, construction engineering, and manufacturing engineering departments to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. What You'll Do Lead a team of Project Coordinators, Buyers, Superintendents, and craft personnel Foster a company-wide culture focused on safety and quality Conduct constructability reviews of design packages and manage project risks/opportunities throughout the lifecycle Maintain a proactive, can-do attitude to align stakeholders with project goals Ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements and interface with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and commissioning teams Conduct Lessons Learned sessions during and after each project Enforce high standards for document configuration control (including RFI incorporation into Record drawings) and manage Change Control for all new scope What You'll Bring Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, or civil/structural/architectural fields, including 5 years as a Project Manager Previous experience managing projects valued at $25M or more Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience; MBA or PMP certification preferred Proficiency in material take-offs, estimating, reading, interpreting, and managing changes to construction drawings Strong skills in Construction baseline development, change control, cost/schedule performance, and variance analysis Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills Willingness to engage hands-on as needed to achieve objectives and lead teams through challenging projects Ability to thrive in a high-performance, cross-functional environment with tight timelines and ambitious goals Openness to new ideas and a commitment to continuous learning Willingness to travel to various project locations as required (up to 50%), often on short notice Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Expected Compensation $86,400 - $189,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
